High Sheriff visits Ventnor Library

The Friends of Ventnor Library have received a grant of £400 from the High Sheriff’s Trust which will provide funding for events for the young.
The High Sheriff visited Ventnor Library at 2 pm on Friday 16th February to join the children at a Magic Workshop given by Huxley the Magician, the first event funded from this grant.
He was welcomed by Tony Marvin, Deputy Mayor, on behalf of Ventnor Town Council which part funds the Library in partnership with the Isle of Wight Council Library Service. Other events funded from the grant will be held throughout the year.
